HALLER, Reba, age 87, of Dayton and formerly of Ashland, KY, died Wed., July 19, 2006 at Heartland of Kettering after a courageous fight with her illness. She was born in Grant, AL on March 22, 1919. She resided in Ashland until moving to Dayton in 1979. Reba was preceded in death by her husband Richard Crooks Haller, 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Schneider (David) of Kettering, OH; 2 grandchildren Holly Clem (Dennis) of Lenoir City, TN and Daniel Schneider (Trina) of Huber Heights, OH and 2 great-grandchildren Hayley and Cole Schneider. During W.W.II, Reba worked at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL for the War Dept., under the United States C.W.S. Transportation Division, as a driver and dispatcher. She was also employed as a buyer at the C.H. Parsons Dept. Store in Ashland until her retirement. Reba was a former member of the Third St. Baptist Church, Dayton, where she held positions on the Board of Deaconess, Christian Education Board and the Missions Board. She was also a faithful member of the All Faith's Church at Lakewoods Apartments, Dayton. Funeral services 1:30 P.M., Mon., July 24, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Robert A. Wackerman officiating. Interment Beavertown Cemetery.
