Reba F. Curry

Reba F. Curry, 90, of Fairborn, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 6, 2018 at the Hospice of Dayton. She was born to Earl and Lillian Phillips of Germantown, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lillian Phillips; husband, John Curry; siblings, Marlo Hassler, Lois McIntosh and Daryl Phillips and son, Earl Curry "Bud".

She married John Curry April 10, 1948. They had 9 children. Melvin Curry (Deb) of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Floyd Curry of Huber Heights, Ohio, Ronald Curry (Dar) of Kettering, Ohio, Ruby Miles (John) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Carol Miller, Vivian Curry of Troy, Ohio, Becky King (Benny) of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina and Teresa Williams of Miamisburg, Ohio. She had 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She worked at Morning Pride as a seamstress for many years until she retired. She loved roller skating, quilting, antiquing, collecting miniature sewing machines, thimbles, and enjoyed playing cards. She will be loved and missed by many friends and family.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 10, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial to follow services at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
