Raymond Younce, Sr.

Raymond Younce, age 85 of Dayton, passed away August 13, 2014 at Tennova Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1928 in Dayton, OH, the son of Raymon and Helen Younce. Ray retired from General Motors after 40+ years of service, was a faithful member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, and a lifetime member of Dayton Elk's Lodge No. 58.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Tony; and grand dog, Apache.

Ray is a loving father to his 3 children, Jeannie (Hugene) Ely, Claudia Jewell, and Ray Younce Jr. and is also survived by two Grandchildren, Danielle and Gregory; 4 great grandchildren; companion, Pat Fetterhoff; adopted daughter, Georgie, numerous family, friends, his cat Fido, and 7 grand dogs.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home and Elk's service to follow. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery (Dayton).
