Raymond William Newton, 61, passed away December 22, 2015. Raymond was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 13, 1954 to Raymond and Gertrude Newton. Raymond retired from Government Service after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of the VNVMC for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting, fishing and spending time with his dog and family.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Newton; 3 step children, Thomas Potts, Christopher Potts, Jared Potts; mother, Gertrude Newton; sister, Barbara Jazwa; brother, Joe Newton; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Gary Barker (Printer) officiating.
Burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery.
