Raymond Edward "Big Bo" Lewis, Sr., age 72, of Dayton, passed away on December 26, 2020, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on April 28, 1948, the son of the late Ray and Clara Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Carlos Ray Odum; his siblings, Jimmy Lewis, Joanne Walters, Leona Beach and Cecil Johnson; son in law, Byrd; and best friend, Danny.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Lewis; children, Raymond (Stephanie) Lewis, Jr., Crystal Byrd, Heather (Tony) Lewis, Rayan (Fred) Kincer, Roger Shepherd and Misty (Josh) Leadingham; grandchildren, Alexandria (Dean), Chasity, Victoria, Brittany, Willie, Calla, Blaik (Brooke), Bailey, Chris, Kristen and Alex; great grandchildren, Makaelyn, Madison, Makenzie, Tony, Anniston, Avery, Raymond, Daniel, Olivia, Makenna, Sophie and Gracelyn; brothers, Ernie Johnson and Bill Johnson; and many other loving family and friends.
He had worked for many years in the Construction Industry, most recently remodeling, painting and landscaping with his son and Byrd. He was a proud member of the Renegade Motorcycle Club for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with family, friends and his brothers. He loved to fish, listening to music and having backyard BBQs. He was one of a kind and the most loving man you could meet. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Raymond will greatly be missed, but never forgotten. RFFR.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021, from 5pm-8pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 4th, 2021, at 10am with Tony Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
