Raymond Hollis
August 31, 1933 — May 8, 2012
Raymond "Ray" Hollis, age 78, of Riverside, OH passed away May 8, 2012 due to medical complications.
Ray was born in Garrett, IN to the late Leo and Agnes Hollis and is also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sayoko; sons, John and David (Sonja); daughter, Pam (Tom) Weese; sister, Mary (Don) Nymberg; grandkids, Grant and Tara Weese and Sarah Hollis.
He proudly served his country for 23 years in the USAF. After retiring, he pursued a college degree and worked for General Motors until his second retirement in 1994. Always the hard worker, he then went to work part-time at MTC, then onto ADW Parts Distributions. He was a member of the VFW Post 657.
Ray will be missed by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in Ray's honor.
Visitation is Sunday May 13, 2012 from 4pm to 6pm with funeral service on Monday May 14, 2012 at 10am at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, OH.
Burial is in Dayton National Cemetery.
