Raymond Collingsworth

COLLINGSWORTH, Raymond Edward, age 75, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Billie J. Collingsworth; both parents; one sister, Patsy Storey. He is survived by his children, Connie and husband David Hilligoss of Arcadia, IN, Rena and husband Lowell Lavy of Versailles, OH, Phillip and wife Kim Collingsworth of Burlington, KY; grandchildren Janella and husband Jonathan Thompson, Brandon and Justin Hilligoss, Regina, Danette, Brent and Allyson Lavy, Brooklyn, Courtney, Phillip and Olivia Collingsworth; two sisters, Ruby and husband Bob Linville of Dayton, Janice and husband Ron Mahoney of Columbus, IN; and a host of other relatives and friends. Raymond attended the Wesleyan Evangelistic Church of Dayton and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with Pastor John Manley officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday. Interment at Valley View Cemetery.
