BOLTON, Raymond "Ray"
Age 89, passed away December 26, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Midge" Bolton; father, Carl (Cleo) Bolton and mother, Marie Bolton; children, Dennis "Denny" Bolton, Steven "Stevie" Bolton, and Sheryl Aker (Bolton); and siblings, Alice, Carl Jr., and Joanne.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Bolton; grandchildren, Carla (Sam) Gerardi, Kelly (Micah) Barcelo, Wesley (Laura) Bolton, Matt (Tricia) Aker, Lance Bolton, Scott (Libby) Aker, and Lindsey Bolton; and 13 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Denise Bolton; son-in-law, Greg Aker.
Ray was a lifelong farmer and retired truck driver. He enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with his family. Ray also served in the United States Navy.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 2, 2015 from 12:30 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
