Raymond Benson

BENSON, Raymond M., 83, of Fairborn passed away Monday, February 11, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Minnie Benson; sisters NannaLou Davis, Frankie Dodson, and Willie Tipton; and brother Daily Benson. Raymond is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jessie Benson, children Kathy (Robert) Spencer, Michael (Sharon) Benson, Karen (David) Kowal, and Donald Savage; grandchildren Jennifer (Rick) Williams, Matt Spencer, Josh Benson, Justin Benson, Chris Buschur, Brian (Lisa) Buschur, Anthony Weese, Tina Savage, and Blaine Savage; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Marynelle Rogers and Betty Blair; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was a member of New Carlisle church of Christ and loved hunting with his beagle dogs. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Friday, February 15, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Preacher Jimmy Lee will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the funeral home.
