Raymond Agee

AGEE, Raymond "Ray" E.

age 79 of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 29, 2005 at Sycamore Hospital. Ray was born January 7, 1926 in Blountville Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Pearl Agee; brothers, Gordon, John "Bud", Clarence "Pete", Clarence; and sisters, Iva and Willie. Ray is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mae; sons, Daniel (Treva) and Daryl (Susan); brothers, Roy of Arizona, Pat of Ohio; sister, Peg of Florida; he was known as Poppy to 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. He owned Ray's Superette and managed Farmers Market on Valley Street. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He loved the outdoors and attended the Family Worship Center. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens with Rev. Dean Berg officiating.
