Ray C. Oakes, Sr., age 78 of Dayton, passed away October 6, 2019. He was born April 8, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Coleman and Alberta Oakes. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Beachler.
Ray is survived by his sons; grandchildren; brother; sisters; other relatives and friends.
Ray was a lead cook for over 30 years at Frisch's.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
