Ray Edward Jaynes

Jaynes, Ray Edward, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008. Ray worked at a contractor for Zengel Construction for over 30 years.

Ray is survived by his wife: Elsie "Mary" Jaynes of Wheelersburg, OH; daughters and son-in-law: Deborah (Ronald) Cook of West Carrollton, Pam Woolard of Hillsboro; sons and daughters-in-law: Darrell (Melisha) Jaynes of Moraine, Tony (Kimberly) Jaynes, Richard Jaynes, Phillip (Joy) Jaynes all of West Carrollton; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother: Jerry Jaynes of Centerville; sister: Judy Cheek of Centerville; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Thelma Jaynes; son: Roger Jaynes; parents: Elvin & Zella Jaynes; and sisters: Betty Rall & Doris Griffith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 10 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH with Pastor Ronald Cook officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
