Ray Collingsworth, age 82 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Legacy of Centerville. He was born September 27, 1940 in Tazewell, Tennessee, the son of the late Mack and Delta Collingsworth.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Mays Collingsworth.
Ray is survived by his children, Melinda (Timothy) Williams, Dave Collingsworth & Danny Collingsworth; grandchildren, Brittany, Amber & Brandon; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Howard, Roger, Cora, Georgia, Shirley and Ruby; and many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
