Ray Beaty

May 31, 1931 — January 20, 2021

Ray Beaty, age 89, of Dayton, fell asleep in death on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was born May 7, 1931 in Crossville, Tennessee the son of the late Alfred and Flora Beaty.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by nine siblings, Bessie, Patsy, Sara, Ples, Jay, Ida, Betty, Estelle and Gladys.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; daughter, Laurie (Josh) Isaacs; grandchildren, Annabelle and Daniel Isaacs; along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Ray was a proud member of Laborers' International Union of North America Local #1410 where he served for 50 years. Ray owned Hungry House on Troy Street in Dayton, where he enjoyed feeding Kaiser High School children. He worked for the Teague Company where he dedicated 40 years laying asphalt. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Ray is truly a "good old boy" who would do anything for the people he loved.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Willow View Cemetery.
