Randy Eugene Harris

Randy Eugene Harris passed away unexpectedly, Saturday June 2, 2012 in Dayton, OH. He was born July 19, 1955, in Washington Court House, Ohio, the fourth child of the union of Robert L. Harris and Norma Jean (Coates) Duncan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Harris in 2002. Randy is survived by his parents, daughter Heather Harris, and grandchildren, fiancé Kelly Ford, brothers Charles (Patricia) Harris, Rev. Robert L. (Carol) Harris, Jr., Sisters, Edith (Paul) Calloway, Georgette (Henry) Gross and Carolyn Harris. Numerous nieces and nephews "who loved Uncle Randy", Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Randy was a longtime resident of Xenia, but moved to Greensburg, Kentucky to work on the farm of his second family and best friend, Helen Anderson. He truly loved riding around on his tractor and raising cattle, fishing, the peacefulness of the farm life, and his little dog Pierre.

Randy was immediately liked by everyone who met him. Always willing to go out of his way to help if he could. Our little world will forever be changed without him in our lives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday June 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will recieve friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial to follow at Stevenson Cemetery.
