Randy Michael Burdette, age 64 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 8, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Denver and Evelyn Burdette.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Gabriel Michael Burdette; brothers, Denver, Ray and David; sisters, Linda Deboard and infant sister, Bonnie Lou; sisters-in-law, Sherry Burdette and Nora Burdette
Randy will be missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Antonette "Nett"; sons, Travis (Rowena) Burdette and Jason Burdette; grandchildren, Brody, Madison and Peyton; brother, James Burdette; many nieces, nephews; and motorcycle brothers.
Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a hardworking man who always took care of his family. He was a graduate of Kiser High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for the City of Dayton for the past 40 years, starting as a motorcycle mechanic and then in Water Supply & Treatment for most of his career. He loved working on and riding motorcycles and working with wood. He was a member of the Union Road Pentecostal Church.
Randy was always willing to help people who needed it as he always wanted to do the right thing. He was a perfectionist in every way. Randy will be dearly missed by his family and all who loved him.
Family will receive friends Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. A graveside service will be held following the service at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Peebles, Ohio.
