Randall E. Teaney

Randall E. Teaney, "Randy," age 54 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 29, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Patricia Teaney.

Growing up, Randy traveled with his parents and sister to nearly all 50 states. He held onto and treasured these moments, and shared them with many throughout his life. Randy was heavily involved with coaching his children in soccer, softball, and baseball. At an early age, he was also a drum instructor and drumming was a big part of his life up until the very end. Randy also loved his time on the water, fishing and boating. Additionally, he was a 10-year volunteer and participant at St. Baldricks in Romeo, Michigan alongside his best friend, Chip Code and his family. Randy had many dogs throughout his life, from the time he was a little boy, up until his final breath.

Randy is survived by his children, Evan Teaney and Erin Teaney; sister, Paula (Jim) Boehmer and their children, Jennifer and Jessica.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10 am - 11 am at Open Bible Christian Church (4715 Burkhardt Avenue, Dayton, OH 45403). A memorial service will begin at 11 am. A Celebration of Life will be held off site directly following the memorial service, with details provided by the family.
