Randald Poindexter

POINDEXTER, Randald, Duane, 55, Of Kettering, originally from Barbourville, Ky, went to be with our lord, Tuesday, September 20, 2005. He was a guard for Merchant's Security and a former delivery driver for Keilson of Dayton for 15 years. He was a member of New Life Fellowship formerly Dayton Gospel Temple for 27 years and head Usher. Randald was loved by many. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Betty Poindexter of Kettering, 1 step-daughter, Kelly Taylor, 3 grandsons, Kenny, David, and Adam Wetzel of Brookville, 1 brother, Arthur Linville (Jackie) Poindexter of Troy, OH and many nieces, nephews and friends, special niece Penny (David) Leming and Uncle Randald's shadows, Adreanna, Jordan and Gabrielle Leming of Dayton, we'll miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed and Meadie Poindexter, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Randald was known his zany sense of humor, his loving heart and his love for God. Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Oh 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2005. Pastor Timothy Hume will be officiating; burial will take place at Willow View Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., September 22, 2005.
