Ralph Emerson Zimmerman, age 88 of , Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019. He was born August 5, 1931 in Wilgus, Ohio to the late William and Zella Zimmerman.
Ralph served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors after 30 years. At a young age, Ralph managed his younger brother's music career while he recorded in Nashville, and after retirement, Ralph pursued his own country music career by recording locally.
Ralph is survived by his son, Daniel Zimmerman; daughter, Monica Zimmerman; four grandchildren; brother, Pastor Chuck (Linda) Zimmerman; sister, Lois Marlene (Robert) McDonald; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial Willow View Cemetery.
