Ralph D. Wilson

Ralph was born on May 28, 1959 in Dayton, OH. He was the son of Ralph and Geneva (Fields) Wilson. On May 16, 1981, Ralph married Melissa Ann (Long) Wilson in Farmersville, OH. Ralph and Melissa built their lives and family together in Miamisburg, OH.

During his 30 year career with General Motors, Ralph worked as a New Project Trainer for GM Moraine Assembly Plant. He was a member of IUE/CWA. Ralph attended The Dayton Vineyard Church in Beavercreek. In his spare time Ralph enjoyed anything that was about the outdoors and nature; Hunting, fishing and camping trips with his family and friends. Ralph was extremely talented with building things with his hands, he actually built a new addition on to the family home by himself. He also enjoyed working on cars. But his true love was having quality time with his family.

Along with his loving wife Melissa and his parents, Ralph shares a family legacy consisting of his sons, Darrell Dean (Alex Gambone) Wilson of Miamisburg and Jacob Colby (Sean Ringer) Drake of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Sandra (Ron) Saunders; brother, Marc Wilson; grandson, Jason Carnes, Jr. and Jasper Hollon; granddaughter, Faith Ann Wilson; best friends, Bill Call and John Campbell; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Wilson; and sister-in-law, Debbie Wilson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd,Dayton, OH 45459. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00 pm with family friend, Dennis McNeil, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg.
