Ralph "Bud" Taylor, 93 of Beavercreek went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by his darling wife of 68 years, Winona Mae "Nonie" Taylor.
He is survived by his three children, Bob Taylor, Debbie Hardman (Gary) and Patti Turner (Joe); Grandchildren: Trevor Taylor, Kari Skolik (Steve); Rob Taylor (Chesney); Ben Hardman (Sarah); Leah Brunie (Jason); Jenny Brown (Stevie); Ryan Turner (Alex) and Joey Turner (Jenny); 21 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Theodore and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bud was born in Keokuk Iowa on April 28, 1925. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended Anderson University. He was in the Food Service Industry for over 40 years and worked for Kraft Foods, Liberal Markets, Molers Dairy and Connelly & Company. He and his son started the R. Taylor Food Brokerage Company in 1980 and he retired in 1992.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to Amelia Island. He was an active member of Salem Church of God most of his life.
Visitation of family and friends will be at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
