Ralph Strahan, Jr.

Ralph P. "Bud" Strahan, Jr., age 81 of Brookville, passed away November 7, 2011. He was born January 7, 1930 in Muncie, Indiana. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of the VFW Post 5018.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cledith Ann; son, Joseph M. Strahan Sr.; parents; and his in-laws. Bud is survived by 6 children: William Strahan, Jenni (Eddie) Ray, Barbara Strahan, all of Indiana, DL (Becky) Proctor of Battlecreek, MI, Patrick D. (Patty) Strahan of Dayton; and Lee Ann (William) Carnes of Brookville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 1 brother, all of Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Rev. James Jones officiating. Burial and military honors to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
