RENNER, Ralph E., age 84, of Kettering, passed away Wed., June 22, 2005 at Kettering Medial Center. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and son-in-law Ernie Langenhorst. Ralph is survived by his daughter Sue Langenhorst of Dayton; 3 sons Robert & wife Eddye of Palm Coast, FL, Donald & wife Patricia of Minneapolis, MN and Mark Renner of Lake Mary, FL; 5 grandchildren Rob, Erica, Dan, Sarah and Pamela & husband Kevin, 2 great-granddaughters Morgan and Mara, cousins Ginny Cadwell and Lois Renner and special friends Julian Wurst, Elmer Gerdeman and Earl Gerdeman. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he was a longtime usher and V.F.W. Post 9927, a veteran of the U.S. Army with service during W.W.II in Paris, France, had worked for 36 years at Edgemont Builders and retired from Snyder Brick & Block after 10 years of service. Ralph was an avid U.D. Flyers fan, former president of Alter Athletic Assn. and was passionate about politics. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tues., June 28, 2005 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Tom Schmidt Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Prayers Monday, 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Dayton Area Heart/Cancer Assn., the Samaritan Homeless Clinic or the Montgomery County Democratic Party in Ralph's memory.
