Ralph Leroy Long, age 69 of Dayton, passed away November 8, 2019. He was born January 2, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Floyd and Armeithia Long Sr. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his siblings: Thomas Long, Sylvia Earnest and Joyce Shank.
Ralph is survived by his son, Timothy James Long (Lori Taynor); step-children: Tammy Long, Darlene Hatton and Floyd Long III; grandchildren: Franklin, Joshua and Joseph Hatton, Rachel and Gregory Charpia; great-grandchildren: Franklin III, Emily, Madelyn, Doris Jean and Joseph Jr; brother, Floyd Long Jr.; former wives: Fancy Fitzpatrick and her daughter, Crystal and Doris Menge; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph owned and operated Long's Concrete; he was a member of the Laborers' International Union of North America Local 1410, the Moose Lodge in Beavercreek, and the Eagles in Moraine. He retired from Rieck Mechanical Services after many years of service.
