Ralph Henry Hineline, age 80 of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Soin Medical Center. He was born June 10, 1944 in Middletown, Ohio the son of Ralph and Lillie Hineline.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Linda Kay Hineline; father, Ralph H Hineline, Sr.; mother, Lillie Hineline; siblings, Janet, Karen, Robert, and Betty.
Ralph is survived by his loving daughters, Toni Miller and Tami (Robert Brown) Ferris; grandchildren, Ashley (Brenden) Barnette, Amber (John) Clark, Tauhnee (Charles) Ferris, Calyn Wilbik and Dusty (Lindsey) Wilbik; great grandchildren, Adelyn, Logan, Emma, Judd, Nijah, Devon, Jr., Abella, Eliana and one on the way; sister, Teresa Parker and his faithful companion, Peanut.
Ralph proudly served his county in the United States Army. He retired from the City of Dayton as a Maintenance Technician. He was a member of the Ohio Optimist Club for many many years. In his free time, Ralph enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage and playing euchre with his family. He also enjoyed traveling to the mountains of Colorado and Tennessee, his home away from home. He was an avid Ohio State Football, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals Football fan. Ralph absolutely loved country music, especially Country Roads by John Denver. Even more so, he loved his frozen lime margaritas. Ralph took pride in mowing his yard and caring for his wife in her last days.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the caregivers Ralph had, especially Lydia Jackson and Brittney Travers, for all of their love and care during this difficult time. Ralph truly appreciated their help.
A Graveside Service will be held at Dayton National Cemetery for Ralph and Linda at a later date. They will be laid to rest together again.
