Ralph F. Burns

Burns, Ralph F., age 66, of Kettering, passed away at home at 12:30 P.M. on April 5, 2008 surrounded by his family. Ralph was born February 25, 1942 in Centerville. He was a 1960 graduate of Centerville High School, a long time employee of Food A Rama in Centerville and One Lincoln Park in Kettering. He was a member of Moose Lodge #73 in Beavercreek and American Legion Post # 598.

Ralph was survived by his wife of 31 years: Jane (Forester) Burns; daughters: Kelli Blundell of GA, Crystal Burns of Kettering; grandchildren: Seth, Havyn, Joshua, Justin, Joey; brothers: Bob, Jim, Harold, Clifford Burns; sisters: Gladys Brookshire, Virginia White, Ruth Fanelli, Sue Massey; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: William & Marie Burns; brothers Clarence & Charlie Burns; and sister: Mildred Hufford.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses or to Hospice of Dayton.
