Ralph E. Grashel Jr.

Grashel, Ralph E. Jr., age 77, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013. Ralph was a United States Air Force Veteran and he retired from Dot's Market as a meat cutter with over 30 years of service. He was an AVID Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Ruth; daughter: Missi; granddaughters: Cassi & Haley; grandson: Brandon; son-in-law: Roger; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Lori; parents: Ralph Sr. & Vera; and brother: David.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Dale Bolen officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Ralph.
