Ralph Mitchell Blaylock, born on June 30, 1938, in Putnam County, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on June 24, 2024, in Beavercreek, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, and later pursued a successful career with General Motors for over 30 years. Ralph's life will be fondly remembered and celebrated by all those who knew him.
Ralph cherished his family deeply. Although he has now departed from this world, he leaves behind his sister, Ruth Richardson; brother, Jim (Janice) Blaylock; as well as a host of nieces and nephews to carry on his memory and legacy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Lola Blaylock; siblings, Ollie Swafford, Ethelene Lee, Golda Hargis, Delma Turner, Johnnie Blaylock, and infant brother, Harold.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the visitation service, which will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10 am to 11 am at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 11 am.
Ralph will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his remarkable life.
