Raeanna Viola Mosier, 71, of Trotwood, passed away on December 15, 2014 at Maria Joseph Living Care Center. Born October 24, 1943 in Long Island, New York, she was the only child of the late Raymond Frederick and Morica Opal (Taylor) Burgdorf.
Raeanna was a full time wife and mother, and enjoyed participating in church, reading, working crossword puzzles, playing cards, watching movies, and collecting a variety of all things beautiful and magical. She was a young soul! She is the mother of three beautiful children and wife of 36 years to her eternal companion, the late, Laurens Sheridan Mosier.
Raeanna is survived by her son, Christopher Dion Mosier and wife Linda of Dayton, OH; daughter Michelle Rae Mosier and partner, Judith Hensley of Huber Heights, OH; daughter Rachele Dawn (Mosier) Maffett and husband, Stephen of Fort Collins, CO; 4 grandchildren: Audrina Christen (Maffett) Miller and husband, Russell of Shelley, ID; Erika Megan (Maffett) Buschang and husband, Phil currently stationed in Iwakuni, Japan; Vincent Scott Maffett and wife, Katie of Fort Collins, CO; Joshua Alexander Mosier of Huber Heights, OH; and 2 great-grandsons: Tristan Aiden Miller & Bryson Cade Miller of Shelley, ID.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM Sunday, December 21, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1500 Shiloh Springs Rd, Dayton where funeral services will begin at 3 PM Sunday, with Bishop Dan Brazelton, officiating. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following the services.
