Rachel Ann Wilson

Rachel Ann Wilson, age 74, of Dayton passed away on May 11, 2023. She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 2, 1948 to the late Charles and Rubie Gilliam. In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward Campbell on December 6, 2022.
She is survived by her loving husband, Sylvester "Will" Wilson; daughter, Leticia Simonoff; son, Douglas Campbell; grandson, Anthony Eves; granddaughter, Madison Campbell; great-granddaughter, Jordan Eves; brother, Bill Gilliam; as well as many other family and friends.
Rachel received her Certificate in Cosmetology and became a successful licensed hairstylist/cosmetologist for over 20 years. She was a military wife and mother for 19 years to her husband, Sylvester Wilson and son, Douglas Campbell whom both served in the Air Force. Rachel and her husband were stationed in California and New York until Sylvester retired from the Air Force. After his retirement, they settled back in Ohio to be with Rachel's family.
Memorial gathering with family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
