Rachel Evangeline Bacheller

BACHELLER, Rachel Evangeline, age 90, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gustive and Daisy Maas; sisters, Grace, Henrietta, Marjorie, and infant brother. Rachel is survived by her husband of 66 years, Orren Bacheller; children, Bruce (Catherine) Bacheller and Nancy Bacheller, and grandson, Robert Bacheller. She was a life-long member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and most recently Miamisburg SDA Church. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution. Rachel had a special love for children, helping others, and was a devoted companion to her husband as he pastored many churches for 40+ years. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Spring Valley Academy in care of Miamisburg SDA Church or Hospice of Dayton.
