Rachel Christopher, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, age 90 of Dayton, took her final journey to heaven Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born August 9, 1925 in Richmond, Virginia the daughter of Julian and Myrtle Clements.
Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Col. (retired) Richard S. Christopher; sons, Richard (Sherry) Christopher, Jr., Randy (Cathy) Christopher, Ronald Christopher, Rusty Christopher; daughter, Rhonda (Rick) Hunter; grandchildren, Sean, Rick, Tim, Stuart, Brooklyn; great grandchildren; niece, Wanda (Kenny) Davis and children, DJ, Casey, TréVon; any many special friends.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Sonny, Frances; and grandson, Michael.
Burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery.
