R. Michael "Mike" Bohanon, age 68, Springfield, passed surrounded by family on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Mike was born in Hugo, OK on July 9, 1954 to the late Bob & Mary Nell Bohanon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Gail; children, Cole (Stacie), Amanda (Mike), Courtney (Paul), Timothy (Jolie), Tara, Kelsey (Jim) and Emily (Donny); grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha, Zoey, Mariah, Abbi, Dakota, Jasmin, Chase, Oren, Casey, James, Daedalus and Viktor; siblings, Susan (Jim), Jon and Gary (Debbie); beloved cats, Max, Lucy, Peanut, Spike and Minnie; and many other relatives and friends.
Mike graduated from Cuyahoga Falls H.S. class of 1972. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and enjoyed going to the gun range. Mike loved to ride his Harley and take care of his cars. He was an avid sci-fi fan and aspiring author.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A celebration of life will follow at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's memory to your local animal rescue.
