Qwon S. Rowland, age 69, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 19, 1946 in Korea. Qwon is survived by her longtime companion, Samuel Rowland; children, Ruby Valentine, Vicki (Kevin) Madewell, and David (Amanda) Rowland; grandchildren, Samantha Adkins, Jacob Smith, Sara Valentine, Kaleb Madewell, Maddison Madewell, and Lilly Rowland; great grandchildren, Kaylee Adkins, Abigail Adkins, and Rondal Adkins III, as well as numerous friends. Family will receive friends on June 7, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.
