Quintin Neal Metcalfe, age 61, of Dayton, passed away November 3, 2021.
He was born May 12, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Roscoe and Bernice Sylvia (Hite) Metcalfe. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Roscoe Metcalfe and sister Patricia Metcalfe.
Quintin is survived by his sons Quintin Neal Metcalfe II, Dustin Neal Metcalfe, Cody Ryan Metcalfe; his daughter Alisha Lynn Metcalfe; his partner of 20 years, Janet Tincher; step-sons, Kevin Tincher and John "PeeWee" Tidwell; and daughter in law Erin Leigh McGinnis. He is also survived by his grandbabies, Karma June Metcalfe, Dustin Neal Metcalfe II, Nathan, Patience, Bonita, Katelyn, David, Jesse Tincher, Kevin Tincher Jr., John Tidwell Jr., Angelina Tidwell, Subrina Tidwell, Angel Tidwell, Savanah Tidwell; his brothers Bob Pape, Chester Akers; his sister Barbara Martin; his best friend who was like a brother Chris Neff, and many more friends who loved him.
Quintin was a carpet installer for over 40 years. He had a very strong work ethic and was meticulous about every aspect of his job. Most of all, he loved being with his family and friends, having cookouts, and playing with his grandkids. Quintin enjoyed watching Nascar, and was known for being a practical joker.
He will always be remembered for being a simple man who was easy going, family oriented, and for being the most loving, caring and hard-working man.
He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
