Preston Seard

SEARD, Preston L. Jr., 75, of Dayton passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his parents Preston, Sr. and Evelyn Seard; sister Barbara Clemons; and brother Elberd Seard . He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Helen Seard; daughter Carolyn Rainey, dog Foxy, grandchildren David and Dana, special friend Tom Cook and Brenda Palmer; sister Arlene Gatewood, Norma (Nathaniel) Fitz, Zerri Barton, and Geraldine Henderson; brother Marshall Seard; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Preston was a veteran in the U.S. Navy with service in Korea and was in the Fleet Reserves branch 327. Funeral Services will be held10:00AM Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00AM Tuesday prior to services at the funeral home.
