Preston Raplee

RAPLEE, Preston, age 60, of Xenia, OH, formerly of Troy, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Raplee and Eva (David) Austin and siblings, David Austin and Francis Raplee. Preston is survived by his wife of 8 ½ years, Debby Kay Raplee; sisters, Beverly (Dale) Foust and Katherine (Stan) Harris; children, Jason (Candice) Raplee, Gregory (Jess) Raplee, Valerie (Ian) Raplee; step-children, Tonya (Walt) Dodson, Robin (Shannon) Dodson, Michael (Amanda) Lawson, Jason (Jessica) Lawson; grandchildren, Roger and Donald Theis, Chad and Michelle Lawson, Brooklyn and Joseph Ligier, Kendall Trefzger, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, as well as hunting buddies, Jay and Lorrie Hurley, and friend, David Wolcott. Preston was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
