Polly S. Williams, age 56, of Oakwood and previously of Santa Cruz, CA, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer, Friday, November 26, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Carolyn Williams. Polly is survived by her sister, Wendy (Bill) Campbell; and niece, Emily (Christopher) Pioske.
Polly graduated from Miami Valley School and Oakwood High School (1973) and also attended the University of Dayton. She was an avid walker who was well known and liked. Polly worked at InfoCision, in Riverside as a communicator where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Previous to that she was the voice of Time Warner Cable's automated answering system and a customer service representative. Polly enjoyed watching and listening to classic movies and oldies music. Steppenwolf, Donovan, the Zombies, Peter and Gordon were her favorites. She also loved to attend concerts.
Polly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 4pm at Woodland Cemetery's Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
