Phyllis Thompson, age 89 of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Garden Manor Nursing Home, Middletown, OH. She was born October 10, 1928 in Dayton, OH the daughter of Carl and Gertrude M. Yenger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Thompson, daughter, Bobbie Jean Dixon, brothers, Carl Jr, Robert, Paul, Lawrence, Jack, Albert Yenger, sisters, Katherine Doolan, Delores Gifford and Mildred Flaugher.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Kristine Blakeman, Kathleen Wright; sons, Kurt (Heidi) Siens, Eugene (Joyce) Siens, Keith (Nancy) Siens, Steven Siens, Joseph Thompson, Jerrold Thompson; sister, Dorothy Reker; a close family friend she considered a daughter, Deborah McFarland. Her love would spill over when she saw her 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was blessed with an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to VITAS Hospice to honor her memory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
