Phyllis Ann Smith, age 72, of Dayton, passed away on November 2, 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 3, 1949, the daughter of the late Frank and Geneva Blanton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Smith; her brother, James Blanton; and her sister, Mary "Nookie" Jones.
Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Jennie (Larry) Dolan and Michael York, Jr.; granddaughter, Katie Greer; great grandchildren, Landon and Sadie; sister, Brenda Blanton; and many other loving family and friends.
Phyllis retired from Trotwood Madison Public Schools, where she was a Bus Driver for over 13 years. In her free time, she enjoyed gambling, play BINGO and dancing. She will be greatly missed by her family.
