Phyllis A. Rudd

Phyllis A. Rudd, age 88, of Dayton, formerly of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away on February 18, 2023. She was born in New Boston, Ohio, on July 22, 1934, the daughter of the late Thelma Arnett Burchwell.

She was preceded in death by her mother; her beloved husband, William "Jack" Rudd; and her son, Steven C. Rudd.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Pam (Randy) Hawkins; son, Mark B. (Penny) Rudd; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Justin, Megan, Jerrid, Clayton, Stephanie and Chris; numerous great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Phyllis worked for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Unit Clerk and prior to that was a Beautician. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, puzzles and spending time with her family. Phyllis loved her family dearly and dedicated her life to them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
