Mrs. Phyllis Jean Roberts (nee Perdue) died peacefully on July 23, 2017 in Miamisburg, Ohio at the age of 81. Phyllis was born on February 23, 1936 in New Vienna, Ohio to Robert and Bernice Perdue. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1955. Phyllis was married to Charles Roberts on January 3, 1956 and remained married until his death in 2003. The couple had 3 children who remember Phyllis as a warm, gentle mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and to love the Lord.
Phyllis was a member of the East Dayton Church of Christ for nearly 50 years, singing in the choir and serving in the nursery and Sunday School areas for years. She was a member of their Women's Sunbeam Circle and enjoyed cooking meals for those in need and sending notes of encouragement.
