Phyllis Jean Shade

Shade, Phyllis Jean, age 85, of Kettering, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 after a brief battle with pneumonia.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: John. She is survived by her daughters: Nancy Shade & Patsy Rinehart; granddaughters: Jennifer (Mat) Naujock, Michelle (Brad) Kendrick & Melissa (Nick Dearth) Rhinehart; grandson: Jeff Rinehart; 8 great grandchildren: Savannah, Owen & Grace Naujock, Braxton & Trenton Kendrick, Nora & Leah Dearth, Kaylee Rinehart; and special friend: Lois Sewak.

The family would like to thank all of the health care professionals at Sycamore Hospital for all of their care and support. Phyllis was a lover of animals, especially dogs, so in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to either the Humane Society of Greater Dayton or SICSA in memory of Phyllis.
