Doughman, Phyllis E. (Granny), age 76, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Gade Healthcare Center. She was born April 20, 1932 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Dale & Opal (Wombold) Arnett. Phyllis grew up in Phillipsburg and lived for many years in Lewisburg, OH. She was a skilled seamstress and she loved riding her motorcycle and the Cincinnati Reds. She was a special Granny to her grandchildren and to any kid who wanted to call her Granny. She was a Charter Member of the Union Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Darlene Arnett; and special nephew, Jack Arnett. Survivors include her children, Sally (David) Riley of Arcanum, Paul (Deana) Doughman of Fairfield, Ted (Barbara) Doughman of Middletown, and Robert Doughman of Arcanum; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Charles (Carole) Arnett. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Bethel Cemetery, Phillipsburg, OH. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Union Baptist Church, 528 N. Main St., Englewood, OH 45322.
