Phyllis Dyer, age 81, of Dayton, passed away September 22, 2019. She was born May 02, 1938 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Christine Hall.
Phyllis enjoyed birds, and was a big animal lover. She had a sense of humor that had everyone always laughing. She loved cooking and always had to have a slice of coconut or pecan pie. She was a meticulous house keeper and laundry specialist. She loved her family and enjoyed attending church where she was a soloist. She loved going on outings and she found her love of motorized shopping carts. Phyllis took great pride in caring for her mother which was also her best friend.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dyer; son, James Dyer; and brother, Gene Hall.
Phyllis is survived by her children: Rita (Dan) Click, Debra Ashmore, and granddaughter, Heather (Lundan), who she raised like her own; grandchildren: Jesse (Rachel), Nathan (Alejandra), Aaron (Rhiannon), Jacob and David (Amanda); great-grandchildren: Jasper, Max, Nicolas, Kevin, Lundan II, Lyberty, Isabella, Jackson, and Elisabeth; brother, Bill (Gaythal) Hall, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton Ohio). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will be held at Dayton Memorial Park on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
