Philomena S. Cole

Philomena Cole, age 88, of Centerville and formerly of Monessen, PA, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 12, 2011.
A dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt, Phil was the glue that held the extended family together.
During her life she traveled extensively, living in many states and abroad in England. Her kindness, compassion, and love touched everyone she met.
Phil was preceded in death by her parents, Carmine and Christina Santoro; brothers, John, Anthony, Emil, Carmine and Francis Santoro; and sister, Mary Fileccia.
She is survived by her children, Norm (Kim) Cole, Jon (Jenny) Cole and Karen (Bob) Matthews; grandchildren, Brianna Matthews, Caitlin Cole, Chrissy Matthews, Michael Boose, Jenna (Blake) Hudson and Bradley Boose;step-grandchild, Chau Fung; brother, Pat (Janie) Santoro; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10:00am at St Joseph Chapel, Incarnation Parish Center (55 Williamsburg Lane, Centerville, OH 45459).
A final service will be conducted in the spring in her hometown of Monessen, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942).
