PHILLIPPE, Bobby L., age 79, of Dayton, passed away Saturday July 2, 2005. He was born February 11, 1926 in Bicknell, IN, the son of Frank and Nellie (Thompson) Phillippe. Bobby was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy, a member of V.F.W. Post 9927, AMVETS Post 99, Masonic Lodge, and the former owner of the Oakwood Shell. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy; three daughters, Marsha (Ken), Linda, and Connie (Scott); one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Peggyann Phillippe; 13 grandchildren, T.G., Dustin, David, Amber, Tony, Crystal, Dan, Linda, Megan, Frank, Michael, Stephanie, and Scooter; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Aspen, and Kyle; Sisters, Margie (Bob) Meyers, Dee (Paul) Memmering, Carolyn Critchfield all of Bicknell, IN, Norma (Bob) Stout of Sullivan, MO; two sisters-in-law, Jean and Norma Phillippe; numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Billy and Gordon Phillippe; one sister, Sharon Phillippe. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
