Phillip R. Van Winkle

Phillip R. Van Winkle, age 74, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2015 in Beavercreek, Ohio. He was born to the late Kennis and Cecil Van Winkle in Morrill, Kentucky on November 21, 1940. Phillip was a veteran in the United States Air Force and later went to work as a lineman for Dayton Power and Light Company where he worked for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Van Winkle; 3 children Christopher Van Winkle, Laura (Bill) Richeson, Jennifer Van Winkle; 2 grandchildren Miranda Richeson and Liam Phillip Richeson and sister Sharon Johnson. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and sister Wanda King. A memorial service will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of Phillip R. Van Winkle.
