Phillip David Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Phillip "Phil" David, 61, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 surrounded by the love of the family that served as his life's purpose.

Phil was born in Würzburg, Germany where his father was stationed while serving in the U.S. Army. He attended Miamisburg High School and graduated from the Cement Mason's Local #131 apprenticeship program in 1976. Following 11 years as a Cement Mason for Local #131, he was elected Business Agent and served in this position for 12 years. Phil then served as a Marketing Representative for the Bricklayers Union for nearly 10 years.

As a member of the Masonic Temple, he served as past Worship Master of Minerva Lodge in 1998, high priest of Trinity Chapter 44, Illustrious Master of Adoniron Council 131, belonging to the Scottish Rite, and was a member of Valley Commandery.

In retirement, Phil worked as a custodian at Centerville Primary Village South school where he was beloved by staff and students alike and renowned for his infamous "Daily Raccoon Report". He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his weekly Polish Club golfing events, and attending NASCAR races with his family. He took great pride in watching his sons' and grandsons' hockey, baseball and football games.

Phil is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sheila; three sons, Phil C. (Heather), Nathan, and Austin; mother, Yeative; brothers, Emmett, Jr. (Marilyn) and Wayne; sisters, Melanie (Steve) VanAtta and Wanda (Dale) Kennard, grandchildren, Conner, Josh, Lawrence, Bryson, Ian, and Taylah; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and all-but-adopted sons, Sean and Sage.

His father, Emmett Harmon Reynolds, Sr. preceded him in death in 1999.

Visitation to be held from 10:30am-12:30pm at Central Presbyterian Church (4699 Lamme Road, Moraine). A Masonic service will be held at 12:30pm. A funeral service will follow the Masonic Service at 12:45pm. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 4pm at Centerville Primary Village South School (8388 Paragon Road, Centerville).

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Phil's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties for the purpose of creating a children's area at the facility.
