Phillip Clark Ramsey, Sr.
Age 73, of Riverside, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009, at Brighton Gardens of Washington Township.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Maedrew (Poore) Ramsey; and by one brother, Gifford Ramsey.
Phillip is survived by four sons, Jack Campbell, Phillip Ramsey Jr, Gifford (Denise) Ramsey and Russell (Kelly) Ramsey Sr.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren all of the Dayton area; and by two brothers, Russell (Ruth) West and Robert (Anita) West and one sister, Regina (Gene) Higginbotham all of Monticello, Kentucky.
Phillip was a member of Calvary Open Bible Church and retired from Phillips Industries.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Brighton Gardens and Crossroads Hospice for the care they provided. The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Phillip to Crossroads Hospice.
